Silver Quartzite Pattern

Most quartzite slabs cost between $50 and $120 a square foot. The average slab size is roughly 120 inches by 77 inches, making the average cost of an entire slab between $3,200 to $7,680. Some projects only require one slab, others require less than one slab, and some require two slabs.

Quartzite tends to be more expensive than it, with granite starting at roughly $50 per square foot. You get what you pay for, though; while quartzite and quartz both cost more, granite is the softest of the three. It's also quite porous and requires even more sealing than quartzite.

The two most common thicknesses for Quartzite slabs are 2cm and 3cm.

Like granite most quartzite is very heat resistant and can withstand hot pots and pans.

Yes! Many people look for durability in a natural stone surface. Like granite, quartzite leans toward the hard side of natural stone, so that means it won't wear down or develop problems in the short term.
