The construction materials testing and certification service has been offered by SGS in Europe, USA, Middle East, Africa and China etc, a global network aleady in shape.  SGS material laboratory of Xiamen Branch focuses on testing and CE certification for building materials, such as natural stone, artificial stone, ceramic tiles and the homogeneous products. Our lab is equipped with a variety of up to date equipment, including 1000kN Universal Materials Testing Machines, Friction coefficients testing Machine, frost/thawing cycling chamber, Constant Temperature and Constant Humidity chamber, Vacuum chamber for water absorption, Flexural strength test apparatus, Multi-channels Gamma-ray spectrometer, Resistance to thermal shock  tester,  flatness test instrument, Autoclave, Wheel abrasion testing apparatus, Abrasion test apparatus for foot traffic abrasion tester, thermal expansion tester Color Difference Meter, gloss meter durometer etc.

Catering to specific requirement from different target markets, the testing standards contain GB, ASTM, ANSI, EN, JIS, ISO, etc.
