The first studies on Pietra Dorata date back to 1934. This prized variety of sandstone, extracted exclusively from the Tuscan valleys of Manciano (GR), is considered a highly valuable decorative material. Over the past few decades, it has become a top choice for elegant finishes both nationally and internationally.

Its uniqueness lies in the fossils embedded within its millennia-old stratifications, forming wavy patterns that create multicolored and undulating designs, intertwined in garlands and rings. Other colors extracted from the quarry include the luminous, elegant, and brilliant Pearl Gray, which serves as the base color of the stone, and the distinctive Etruscan Red.
