Product description
Basalt is defined by its mineral content and texture, and physical descriptions without mineralogical context may be unreliable in some circumstances. Basalt is usually grey to black in colour and although usually characterised as “dark”, basaltic rocks exhibit a wide range of shading due to regional geochemical processes. These include counter tops, floor tiles, paving stone, curbing, stair treads, building veneer and cemetery monuments. Basalt can be supplied by us in various types of surface finish like Polished, Honed, Riverwash, Bush hammered, Antique finish, natural etc. in sizes and thickness as required.Available in various forms viz. random slabs; polished, calibrated and beveled tiles; cut-to-size blocks; pavers, flagstone, fascia tiles and more
