Company Overview

Company Description

We love Estonia, its language and its culture.
We owe our inspiration to Estonian medieval architecture, especially to sculpture found in medieval churches and towns. In 1992 we founded AS Gildermann as we wished to keep the tradition of stone carving alive in modern design and ways of manufacture.
Within 18 years of operation, we have developed a complete production unit at the site of the one-time Parkhof Manor in Jalase, Rapla County. It is just a stone’s throw away from our 10-hectar dolomite quarry where we can extract raw material of high quality in proper amounts at the right time and process it at our plant which prides in adequate equipment and a wide range of production options.
How to construct a fireplace, staircase, facade, or fountain that would give pleasure to both the customer and the producer?
In close cooperation of the customer, architect, and interior designer. However, behind all that underlies a concept.
If you have a scheme of designs, send it to us. We will offer all necessary details to the complete solution.
If there is no scheme, we will come to the site, examine the object, hear your requests, and look at possible options.
On the basis of the collected information, we will offer our suggestion in the form of a 3D preliminary design plan.
Generally, working with a three-dimensional model is within everyone’s powers, which ensures mutual understanding and the best solution.
So long till then! Yours faithfully,
Madis Villand and Mihkel Villand
