Product description
Steps produced in decreasing lengths in standard widths 30, 32.5, 35, 40 and 50 cm in thickness 2-3 cm and 3-4 cm, other thicknesses available on request. They can also be manufactured to measure or templates (must be exact). Customers can choose from carved, r?hugget or sawn edge. Mountain Stage is between 13 to 18 cm thick, 35 cm depth minimumm. Length of 80 cm.

Oppdal Sten AS was founded in 1993, then called Hjerkinn Oppdal Sten AS. There was little activity in the first few years. In autumn 1997, the board decided that the company should expand and Geir S. Jacobsen was appointed as new CEO in 1998. It was then approx. 10 employees in the company. In the same year, the plot and production room in Kåsenveien was bought. After this, the company has grown both in terms of turnover and the number of employees. Today, there are just under 40 employees in the company. In 2008, we introduced 6.75 hours working day for the employees in production and in the breaches, with good results. Oppdal Sten AS currently has a stable and good workforce with high competence and years of experience. In Oppdalsmålestokk we have become a significant company and a safe workplace. In 2011, Petter Bye joined the new general manager.
Oppdal Sten AS is concerned with development, and in 2011 the digging machine became a reality, the first of its kind. The splitting machine was developed by Oppdal Sten AS in cooperation with Sintef. It is used to divide thick blocks into topics. In our opinion, this is a revolution for the ski industry, both in terms of HSE (health, safety and environment) and productivity.
