Description
Baltic Brown ED Granite is a distinctive coarse-grained, non-foliated viborgite granite, characterized by its rich brown color. Found in the Ylamaa region of Finland, this granite exhibits unique features, such as individual, large, round potash feldspar crystals ranging from 15 to 30 mm in diameter. These prominent feldspar crystals contribute to the granite's distinctive appearance.
A notable characteristic of Baltic Brown ED Granite is the surrounding greenish plagioclase circle that encircles each large feldspar crystal. This creates a visually intriguing pattern on the surface of the stone, adding to its overall appeal.
It's important to note that there may be some variation in appearance among blocks from different quarry sites within the Ylamaa region. Baltic Brown ED Granite, with its distinctive coloration and intriguing crystal patterns, is a sought-after material for a variety of architectural and design applications.
